We make our standard web starting with a 20kN nylon core, pad it out with wool then pull a woven cotton sheath over the lot and finish the top end with a 10mm delta mallion and the bottom with a non-rated loop.

We prefer to make our webs with (re)movable hand loops as they offer a lot more versatility, are great for teaching kids or learning new skills low to the ground or for adjusting the performance height (really handy for low performance spaces).
There are two styles of swivelled hand loops that we make.

Style 1 - A sewn14mm sling for prussicking the loop to the web threaded through a Ronstan RF78 swivel connected via a shackle to a 400mm 1T crane sling for a hand loop with a sliding keeper.
Style 2 - A sewn 14mm sling for prussicking the loop to the web threaded through a small PETZL P585 swivel and a hand loop made from the same woven cotton sheath as the web (with a 14kN nylon sling core) finished with a sliding keeper.
